选(xuǎn)[選] 出(chū)[出] 正确(zhèngquè)[正確] 的(de)[的] 词(cí)[詞] : 他(tā)[他] ___ 我(wǒ)[我] 的(de)[的] 老师(lǎoshī)[老師] 。
- 1是(shì)[是]
- 2有(yǒu)[有]
- 3在(zài)[在]
- 4很(hěn)[很]
Show answer
Correct: 是(shì)[是]
The copula 是 links two nouns in an "X 是 Y" identity sentence: 他是我的老师 = "He is my teacher." 有 marks possession/existence, 在 marks location, and 很 introduces an adjective — none can equate two noun phrases.
Show answer
Correct: 过(guo)[過]
Because the follow-up "可惜都忘了" (unfortunately I forgot it all) frames it as a bygone experience with no lasting result, the experiential 过 is required: 学过三年法语 = "have studied French for three years (at some point)." The perfective 了 would imply the studying reached completion with a continuing result, contradicting "forgot it all". The answer is a single unambiguous character; acceptedAnswers lists the simplified 过 and its traditional form 過.
Show answer
Correct: 况且(kuàngqiě)[況且]
况且 adds a further, reinforcing reason on the same side of the argument ("besides / what's more"): 成本太高,况且时间上也来不及了 = "The cost is too high; besides, there's no time either." 因为 opens a cause (not an add-on), 否则 means "otherwise", and 幸亏 means "fortunately" — only 况且 stacks a second supporting reason. Two-character connector; acceptedAnswers = simplified 况且 and traditional 況且.

Methodology
This Mandarin Chinese grammar test contains 50 items (10 at A1, 10 at A2, 10 at B1, 10 at B2, 10 at C1), ordered from A1 to C1 and drawn from the same item bank used inside the Lenguia study-plan product.
Scoring uses a pass-threshold model: each CEFR level is "passed" when you earn roughly two-thirds of its available points, and your result is the highest level you pass consecutively starting from A1. This rewards consistent competence rather than lucky guesses. Results range from A1 to C1 (the test does not grade C2).
The items are informed by the competency descriptors of the Council of Europe CEFR framework. This is a free self-assessment: results are a reliable orientation, not a certified proficiency measurement.
The competency descriptors follow the Council of Europe CEFR framework.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this Mandarin Chinese grammar test?
It uses the same item bank and pass-threshold scoring as the placement engine inside Lenguia's study-plan product, so the CEFR estimate is consistent and repeatable. Like any online self-assessment it is an orientation, not an official certificate.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Yes — the full test, the result and the shareable certificate are free, with no signup. If you create an account afterwards, your result can be used to build a personalized study plan.
What levels can I get?
A1, A2, B1, B2 or C1. A level counts as reached when you earn roughly two-thirds of its points and have passed every level below it. C2 is not graded.
Can I retake the test?
Yes, as often as you like. Questions within each level are shuffled, and your latest result replaces the previous one on this device.
